Siemensmri.parts Disclosures
Under the terms any part sale, SELLER is Siemensmri.parts, a DBA of MRICTPETPARTS, LLC, and CUSTOMER is the entity (end-user or reseller) whom SELLER is billing.

EXCHANGE ITEM POLICY

Exchange items must be returned within 30 days of the original order to receive full exchange credit. All exchange items must be of a like part number and repairable.
Items returned more than 30 days after the original order will be refused, and the order will be rebilled at the outright price unless we agree to waive this policy in advance of the item receipt.
Some items such as RF Power Amplifiers and Gradient Amplifiers have an uncertain chance of being repairable. If you are returning such parts to us, we will make every possible effort to repair the exchange item, but it cannot be guaranteed. Specific types of damage such as leaking heat sinks and certain classes of damage to electronics such as badly burned circuit boards cannot be overcome despite our best efforts. In such cases, we reserve the right, having exercised all available repair options at our expense, to rebill the item as an outright sale. We will not do this if we can avoid it, but CUSTOMER assumes the risk that the exchange item provided may be deemed unacceptable, and CUSTOMER agrees as a term of sale to accept outright billing if the item cannot be repaired.
We may require receipt of the exchange item before shipping our parts, or CUSTOMER may elect to pay the outright price in advance and receive credit for the difference as a refund upon receipt of exchange. This is a standard term of sale for new clients.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE

The shipment must carry proper insurance which is CUSTOMER responsibility along with shipping costs. If the shipment is damaged in transit, SELLER assumes no liability and CUSTOMER (a) is still responsible for payment per terms of the invoice and (b) is solely responsible for filing and securing insurance claims.

DAMAGED RETURN ITEMS

All damaged return items are subject to immediate rebilling at the outright price. CUSTOMER is responsible for proper packaging of the return items - NOT the carrier.

WARRANTY TERMS

Unless explicitly modified in the quote terms or item description, the standard warranty for all items except X-ray tubes is 90 days from date of sale.

PRORATED WARRANTIES

Proration is defined from the day of delivery forward to the end of the pro-rated term. Unless the pro-rated schedule specifically references item usage, the residual value of the warranty is defined as ITEM VALUE WITHOUT SHIPPING COSTS * REMAINING WARRANTY DAYS FROM DELIVERY DATE / WARRANTY DURATION.
In the event of a pro-rated warranty claim, CUSTOMER can, if mutually agreed with SELLER, apply the pro-rated warranty as a credit against a replacement item. If no such arrangement can be agreed, SELLER will refund the pro-rated residual upon receipt and inspection of the defective item.
The return of a pro-rated item must be arranged to deliver the item to SELLER within 10 days of the claim date or the warranty will be VOID.
Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the CUSTOMER in all cases.

SHIPPING CASES

When we elect to use a shipping case, this considered a LOANER ITEM unless not returned. Failure to return the shipping case results in automatic additional billing of $550.
For most international shipments, we will price this cost into the quote and note it as such. You may, at your discretion, elect to return the case for a refund, but we recommend against this, as the shipping costs will offset the case price.

WARRANTY MODIFICATION

If your quoted item(s) differ in warranty terms or duration, the quoted items have precedence over the standard terms.

RESTOCKING POLICIES

All orders can be restocked up to 15 calendar days from the anticipated receipt date. If we send you something overnight, this time begins the next day.
We will charge a 25% restocking fee on all items to cover our recertification costs and the cost of lost sales opportunity.
Items cannot be restocked after 15 days from the original order date without our case-by-case consent and agreement in advance of the return. Late returns will be treated as exchange items and billed at 75% of the exchange price up to 30 days after the initial shipment. After 30 days, they will be treated as exchange items and billed at 100% of the exchange price or refused altogether and billed as outright sales per our policy below.

ATTENTION: In almost all cases where we are procuring parts for your order directly from Siemens, there is no restock option. This means we cannot offer standard warranty or restocking of any kind - because Siemens will not accept a restock or warranty claim from any third-party buyer. We make every effort to explain this during the sales process, but we are absolved of any responsibility for or claim thereof for restocking or warranty issue in these specific cases. Any other item, where we have recourse, remains subject to our standard policies above.

CREDITS AND LATE FEES

Unpaid balances accrue penalties at the rate of 1.5% per month beginning on the due date.
Customer credits will first be applied to unpaid balances on other invoices. Any remaining credit can be claimed by requesting a refund check.
